I had the chance to photograph Amethyst Jonquille again, this time at Knomad Bar, and it was such a fun return. I had only just shot her set at Sahara Lounge the week before, so seeing her and the Gems again felt familiar in the best way. Knomad is this small dive bar with a stage tucked inside, and it has a charm that makes you feel like you are right in the middle of the performance. It was my first time shooting there, and I loved figuring out how to work with the space and the warm glow of the room.


Amethyst brought the same calm confidence she always does, and the band filled the space with a steady energy that made the whole set feel close and personal. I found myself moving around the room catching little moments between songs and the way the light hit the stage just right. It was one of those nights where everything felt easy and genuine, and I walked away with photos that really show the heart of the performance.
