I first saw CAKE at The Moody Theater back in 2009. I didn't know much about their music at the time, but that concert turned me into a fan. From getting the audience to na-na-na-na during "Short Skirt, Long Jacket" to gifting a tree to an audience member, CAKE put on a kick-ass show.
Fast forward to September 18th, 2019, and there I was in the pit of one of Austin's biggest stages, photographing CAKE along with Ben Folds and Tall Heights at the Germania Insurance Amphitheater in Del Valle, TX. The energy was electric, and capturing these moments was an absolute thrill.
