I saw CAKE for the first time at The Moody Theater (I believe) back in 2009 or so. I didn't really know much about their music, but that concert made me a fan. From the audience interaction and getting us to all na-na-na-na during Short Skirt, Long Jacket to gifting out a tree to an audience member, this band just showed up to put on a kick ass show. Fast forward a bit and I found myself in the pit of one of Austin's biggest stages, getting to photograph them!
