I first discovered Damaris while doomscrolling on TikTok, and one of her videos stopped me in my tracks. I am always a sucker for powerful female vocals and gritty alt rock, so I reached out right away to see if she ever needed a photographer. A few weeks later she messaged me with a show date at Sahara Lounge, and I was all in. Meeting the band in person and getting to photograph their set was such a blast. They have a huge sound and the crowd absolutely felt it.


Sahara Lounge has this intimate, slightly chaotic charm that makes every performance feel bigger than the room, and Damaris leaned into that completely. The energy was high, and every song gave me something new to chase with the camera. I walked out with a gallery full of moments that show exactly why her music grabbed me in the first place.
