The first time I heard Fastball was when "The Way" came on our local radio stations back in 3rd or 4th grade. I didn't know the song's name until I was at a summer space camp, and I heard it again on the radio. I asked one of the camp employees what it was called, and I never forgot it. My dad bought me the CD, and I listened to it on repeat.
Fast forward 20 years, and there I was, photographing Fastball at 3TEN ACL Live in Austin, TX, on November 9th, 2018. It was such a pleasure to see these guys perform, especially hearing a lot of my favorites from that album.
