The first time I heard Fastball was when "The Way" would come on our local radio stations when I was in 3rd or 4th grade. I didn't know the name of the song until I was at a summer space camp, and I heard the song again being played on the radio. I asked one of the camp employees what the name of the song was, and I never let that out of my mind. My Dad bought me the CD, and I would listen to that thing on repeat. Fast forward 20 years, and I am photographing Fastball at ACL Live. It was a pleasure getting to see these guys perform, especially hearing a lot of my favorites from that album!
