I stopped by the Japanese Tea Gardens in San Antonio to meet up with my in laws for some updated family photos, and I am really glad we picked this spot. I had never been here before, but the place is gorgeous. The light was perfect, the colors were rich, and every corner had a little pocket of scenery that worked beautifully for portraits. Gabi and Valentin brought their two kids, plus Gabi's dad and step mother who were visiting from Nicaragua, and we ended up with a really sweet mix of group shots and smaller moments. My wife even jumped in for a few, which made the whole thing feel even more personal.
What I loved most about this session was how easy it felt. Everyone settled in quickly, the kids had plenty to explore, and the gardens gave us a ton of variety without needing to walk far. It is always fun photographing family, but doing it in a place this peaceful made it even better. I left with a gallery full of warm, natural images that really show who they are.
If you are looking to update your family photos and want something relaxed, colorful, and full of genuine moments, I would love to work with you. Reach out and let us create something that feels true to your family.
