Kristy and Matt were referred to me by a previous wedding couple that I had the pleasure of photographing, Amy and Austin. I absolutely love when couples refer me to their friends and family! I don't do much advertising (if any at all), so word of mouth is what I rely heavily on. When Matt came to me, he was stoked for his Halloween wedding. His excitement was very contagious, because there were plans for a big Halloween house party as the reception and I just couldn't wait to be able to capture everyone in their costumes! However, as y'all know, COVID19 had different plans. The ceremony still happened at Chapel Dulcinea, and this was actually my first time shooting there. I really loved the grounds and thought the ceremony site was beautiful. So many cute photo opportunities! Instead of a big house party, it was back to their house for a smaller party! Still wonderful to see some of their close friends help them celebrate their new marriage, and it was still every bit as wonderful.
