Markie | Boho Portraits

Portraiture

Hey everyone! I had an absolute blast shooting with Markie. I was itching to put my new 85mm f/1.8 lens to the test, and Markie was up for the adventure. We headed off the beaten path near Sam Bass Rd in Round Rock to get some truly unique shots. There used to be this amazing old fire truck there that we climbed all over to capture some fun and creative poses.

Fast forward about a year later, and we reunited for another shoot. This time, I wanted to practice some off-camera flash techniques with Markie doing some cool hula hoop poses at Old Settlers Park. I’ve included a mix of photos from both sessions in this post.

If you’re looking to capture some memorable and unique shots like these, let’s make it happen! Book a session with me at The Vinyl Lens, and let’s create some magic together.

When: August 3rd, 2011 (and August 30th, 2012 for the hoop shots)

Where: Off of Sam Bass Rd in Round Rock, and Old Settlers Park, Round Rock.
