Some weddings are just effortless joy from start to finish, and Nancy & Willy’s special day was exactly that! They were referred to me by my good friends Shane & Maddie (whose wedding I photographed a couple years ago), so I knew I was in for a great time. These two are everything you could want in a couple—charming, hilarious, and laid-back, making my job as a photographer an absolute dream.
Though the rain had other plans for their originally chosen outdoor setting, it didn’t put a damper on their spirits one bit! The celebration moved indoors, and with every smile, tear, and belly laugh, it became clear that the weather was just a small footnote in an otherwise perfect day. I loved capturing their love and joy—not just between them, but in the way their families embraced the moment, making it a day to remember.
