My friend Rachel has been doing roller derby for a few years, but I had never made it out to actually see one of her bouts. Well, I finally found myself with some extra time, so I took my camera to their arena and finally got to catch a match. I went in knowing nothing about roller derby besides seeing that one movie (the name escapes me) like 20 years ago. It was awesome! It's like a wrestling match on wheels. Or a dynamic obstacle course. It's hard to explain, but it was a lot of fun to watch and I hope to do it again soon!
