Mussi from Round Rock Chabad reached out and asked if I could photograph their menorah lighting in downtown Pflugerville, and I jumped at the chance. I had never covered a menorah lighting before, so I was excited to experience something new. Even with the chilly weather, a great crowd showed up and the whole evening had this warm, welcoming energy. The ceremony itself was beautiful to witness, and people were in such good spirits that it made capturing the event feel effortless.
Between the music, the lights, and the smell of fresh latkes drifting through the air, the night had a really special vibe. I even got to try some of those latkes and they were incredible. Events like this remind me how much I enjoy photographing community gatherings. There is something about people coming together to celebrate that always translates well into photos.
If you are hosting a cultural event, ceremony, or community celebration and want photos that feel genuine and full of life, I would love to work with you. Reach out and let us create something meaningful together.
