It had been a while since I'd done any kind of performance art photography, so you can imagine how excited I was when I got accepted to photograph a show by Blackheart Burlesque and Suicide Girls! The show was quirky and filled with a little bit of nerdiness, dance routines, poetry reading, and lots of audience interaction. It was an absolute blast! If they ever tour through your area, I highly recommend checking it out.
The show took place on September 23rd, 2018, at Emo's in Austin, TX. It was such a fun and unique experience capturing all the vibrant performances and the amazing energy of the night.
