Getting invited back to photograph the Texas Renaissance Festival this season has been such a gift. The first weekend was Oktoberfest themed and it was the perfect way to ease back into the rhythm of festival coverage. I saw so many familiar faces, met a bunch of new ones, and felt right at home wandering through the grounds with my camera. The energy was high, the costumes were incredible, and the whole place had that classic TRF magic that makes it so fun to capture.


Some of my favorite moments came from watching Tartanic fire up the crowd, catching the wild humor of The Barbarian Bombshells, and feeling the intensity of Ragnarök on stage. I also had a blast photographing a mead and wine tasting at Odin's Table, and yes, getting to sample a little along the way definitely added to the fun. It was a great start to the season and I got stoked for the weekends ahead.
