Sometimes the best headshot sessions are the ones where we barely have time to catch up before we're already done. My friend Virginia swung by the home studio in Georgetown for her headshots, and honestly it was more like hanging out than working. She came in ready to try a few different looks, which I always appreciate, but after I showed her the first shot on the back of my camera she just goes "that's the one." And you know what? She was right. Done and done.
This is kind of the whole point of what I'm going for with headshot sessions at the studio. Everything is set up and dialed in before you even walk through the door so there's no awkward standing around while I fumble with lights and wonder where I put my light meter. You show up, we vibe for a few minutes, I grab some shots, and more often than not we've nailed it faster than it takes to find parking downtown. Comfortable space, easy pace, great results. No hour-long ordeal required.
