Virginia reached out after seeing me photograph a Y'all Out Boy show, and once she mentioned that Ryan and the groomsmen would be wearing kilts, I knew this wedding was going to be a fun one. Their ceremony took place at St. Elias Orthodox Church, which was a completely new experience for me. The flow and timing were different from what I am used to, but it made the whole thing feel fresh and exciting. I loved getting to document the details of the space and the traditions that shaped their ceremony.


The reception kept that same energy going. Virginia and Ryan surprised everyone with a playful sword fight, which is definitely a first for me at a wedding. The whole day had this mix of elegance, personality, and pure joy that made photographing it a real treat. I walked away with a gallery full of moments that feel true to who they are as a couple.
