A childhood friend, Jason, introduced me to the band Why? in my early 20s. Their witty metaphors, simplistic yet emotionally charged music, and somewhat monotone singing got me hooked. I love a good indie artist, and Why? was right up my alley. I quickly fell in love with their music.
I had the pleasure of photographing their show at Mohawk in Austin, TX, on November 19th, 2018. Capturing their unique style and energy was an incredible experience.
