Y'all Out Boy just played the biggest show of their eight year existence, and I was lucky enough to be standing right there with a camera catching every sweaty, screaming second of it. ACL Moody Theater in downtown Austin is one of those venues where the room itself feels like part of the show, and it's wild to think this local cover band that literally started from a Craigslist ad is now filling a stage where I've watched Buddy Guy, Carly Rae Jepsen, Intocable, Soul Coughing, and so many others do their thing. Full circle energy.
Elijah Delgado and his band opened and did exactly what a good opener should do: got the crowd loose and loud before the main event even hit the stage. Then Y'all Out Boy came out and threw everything they had at this anniversary show. High energy, a crowd singing back every word, the works. As a concert photographer based in Austin, this is the kind of night I live for. Rowdy crowds, bands who actually put on a show, and a venue with history dripping off the walls make for some of my favorite frames all year.
If you're a band, artist, or venue looking for someone who can capture the chaos and the connection of a live show without making it feel staged, I'm your guy. Whether it's a hometown anniversary gig or your first time on a big stage, let's document it right. Head to my contact form to book your next concert or event photography session.
