Catching Y'all Out Boy at Longhorn City Limits was the perfect way to kick off a game day morning. Even with the early start, people showed up ready for loud guitars and fast songs, and the band delivered exactly that. The sun was still low, the air felt fresh, and the crowd was already buzzing as soon as the first chord hit. Photographing a pop punk set at 8:30 in the morning is not something I get to do often, but it ended up being such a fun change of pace.
There is something special about shooting a show where everyone is shaking off the morning and jumping straight into the energy. The band was in full stride, and the crowd was waking up fast! I walked away with a set of photos that really show the spirit of a community getting fired up before a big game.
