If you've never been to Paper Tiger in San Antonio, first of all, what are you doing with your life, and second of all, put it on your list immediately. This place is a live music institution, and every single time I show up with a camera, it delivers. Y'all Out Boy brought the kind of energy that makes you question whether your camera can even keep up, and spoiler alert: I was running, I was dodging, and I was absolutely loving every second of it.


Mosh pits? Plural. Crowd surfers popping up every few songs like "hey don't forget about me." The entire crowd singing every word at the top of their lungs like the set list personally wronged them in the best possible way. That's the kind of chaos that makes concert photography feel less like work and more like the most fun you'll ever have while also protecting your lens with your life. Paper Tiger has this gritty, intimate energy that just can't be faked, and it shows up in every single frame.
